Oh there are so many choices out there for Christmas gifts in the gaming arena.  How to choose which is right for my family.  We all decided on The PlayStation 3 Dualshock 3 Wireless Controller because it comes in a wide variety of colors and allows you to play games without worrying about getting tangled up in cords. If you're in the middle of some intense gaming action the last thing you want to worry about is where the cords are.

We can sit back and focus your entire attention on what is happening on the screen. More fun, less worry. The batteries will also last a long time, depending on what features you use.

The Dualshock 3 has pressure sensors that cause the controller to "rumble", making you feel like you are a part of the action.  It uses Bluetooth technology for wireless gaming and Sixaxis motion sensing technology to pick up on even the slightest movements.

The controller itself looks very similar to the original PS3 controller. It's slightly heavier and definitely feels a lot sturdier. The original controller weighs 135 grams while the DualShock 3 comes in at 190 grams.

Before you begin playing with the wireless controller you need to plug it in with a USB cable so the PS3 can recognize the controller. It doesn't come with a USB cable so you'll need to use the one supplied with the console or purchase another one.

The Dualshock 3 controller has a Lithium-Ion battery and can be charged by plugging it into the PS3 via a USB cable. The PS3 supports up to seven wireless controllers at the same time.
